social society marketing - identity rebrand

Social Society Marketing is a small, owner-operated business in Washington, IL that strives to specialize in helping companies to harness the power of social media to build strong online communities, drive engagement, and achieve their marketing objectives.

In this project, I was challenged with creating an entirely new brand identity that was bold and striking, while still professional. I created not only the identity, but brand presentation, social posts, and will continue to work for them as a graphic designer.

Final identity marks

These marks were the final chosen ones that represented the brand the best. The primary logo is the wordmark, with the lettermark as an alternate. I also made an additional emblem for more informal uses.

Brand guide

For the brand assets, I wanted to keep the bold look that the logos served through the color and type choices. Furthermore, this brand guide serves as an example for future clients with Social Society as to what they will expect when getting graphic design work.

Brand presentation

For the brand presentation, I really wanted to emphasize the social parts of the brand that are most important when getting a brand’s name out there. When expressing the brand identity, I made sure to include all the colors in their own unique ways, while also showing the special brand assets that make the branding so bold.

A part of this project was creating social posts for the release of the new brand look. I created several posts for the social pages that acted as teasers or countdowns to create audience interest and drive home the bold, social look of this brand.
